Inspired by... The Colleen

chocolate Edmonton Inspired By

Since March 8 was International Women's Day we thought it would be fitting to release not one but two Inspired By bars since both represent incredible women we're grateful to know.

We're excited to welcome Colleen to the Inspired By group and we have a feeling you'll be delighted to try her Hazelnut Praline Crunch. Read on to find out more about Colleen and her flavour!

Where do you live?

Toronto

What do you do?

I'm a Marketing and Events Coordinator for a law firm.

Favourite place to:
eat - Deluxe Hamburgers - A local staple and every time I go home to Sudbury for a visit, I have to go there - best fries and gravy!

drink - Anywhere with friends. As long as I am with the people I love, it doesn't matter where I am drinking! Drink of choice? Red wine or Forty Creek Whisky.

play - BATL (Backyard Axe Throwing League) - I have been in an axe-throwing league for 3 years now. I recently placed 33rd in the National Axe-Throwing Championships.

What inspired The Colleen?

From as far back as I can remember I have always loved Belgian pralines; they are just so tasty. Give me hazelnut anything and I will gobble it down.

Now that you have a chocolate bar in your name, what’s your next life goal?!

What can top having a chocolate named after you? But seriously, my next goal is to buy a bigger motorcycle (the dream would be a Victory Gunner) and plan a cross-country road trip to see lighthouses in the East and family in the West (including her favourite cousin-Rebecca).

Any life/career advice you would pass on to someone?

You can achieve anything you put your mind to, don't let the fear of failure hold you back.

The Inspired By collection was created as a way to celebrate some of our favourite people and say thank you to the amazing friends, family, and clients who have supported us from day one. Together with the namesake, we develop a custom flavour usually inspired by their favourite food(s) for these limited edition 78g bars.
